We hustled to get our Frigid Forage food plot seed in the ground in mid-April. We rented a New Holland tractor and did the best we could to turn the soil, disc and drag it in preparation for Monster Magnet and Wild Game Buffet food plot seed. We planted a mixture of annuals and perennials and saved some space for corn (about 1 ¼ acres). I was at the property yesterday to check-up on the plots and I was surprised to see the corn and the food plot mix was growing well.

We didn't do a good job of spraying the plot this year before we planted, but I'm confident that the plots will grow with well with the help of 19-19-19 (or 10-10-10) fertilizer and herbicide for the alfalfa and corn.

Any suggestions for the annual stuff like the brassica, sugar beats and sun flower seeds?
